Al Beamer, JD, CIO

Al has responsibility for the IT functions of FFC.  He brings 25+ years of experience as the IT director for companies with thousands of employees spread over dozens of offices.   He has consulted and provided programming, network and business practice advice to hundreds of companies and helped them to grow and expand their businesses into additional services and markets.  Al’s law degree and experience in real estate and land title matters provide important background and knowledge as FFC works to acquire and develop property.  He has optimized our IT functions to be paperless and hosted on web-based servers, so that all of our business partners have real-time access to the latest information and status on every function of every project.

 

Monte Aspelmeier, MSW, LNHA

Monte has more than 35 years of experience in the health care industry.  Before joining FFC, he managed the Health Care Consulting practice for a top 10 accounting firm.  He also served as the Midwest VP of Operations for the largest senior care company, having responsibility for over 300 facilities.  He then spent 6+ years as that company's VP of International Development, establishing hospitals, special care clinics, long term care and continuing care retirement facilities in Japan and South America.

His extensive health care experience includes working for the State of Missouri as Deputy Director with the Missouri Division of Aging, where he was responsible for directing the licensure and certification of all long-term care facilities in the state.  Monte provides management and operations oversight for our development, owned and leased properties.  He is a a well-known expert and national lecturer on reimbursement optimization.  He also has a successful track record of assisting health care providers and and developers to identify market growth opportunities.

 

Dave Collins, CPA, SVP- Business Development

Dave has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience.  Prior to his association with FFC, he was with Carlyle Development Group, where he was responsible for the redevelopment and disposition of real estate assets.  He as also been a VP with LaSalle Investment Management and led a corporate division of The Staubach Company.  His real estate experience began with May Company, where he managed a portfolio of regional mall properties.

 

Stanley R. Ingman, PhD                                 Program Chair, University and Intercultural Relations

Dr. Ingman is the Director of the Doctoral Program in Applied Gerontology at the University of North Texas, where he is also the Director of the Center for Public Service, Director of the Healthy Neighborhood Initiative and Professor of Sociology and Gerontology.  He is also the Associate Director for Northeast Texas Region, Texas Consortium of Geriatric Education Centers at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and the Director of the Texas Institute for Research and Education on Aging.  He is one of the acknowledged experts on aging and particularly on issues related to the future of aging and aging in various cultures.

 

Kathy Beamer, RN BSN, CFO

With almost 25 years as President of a computer software development firm, Kathy is getting back to her health-care roots.  She is responible for the development and maintenance of all corporate financial aspects and consults on staffing issues.

 

Christie Tutschulte, BA, MA Gerentology, LNHA

Christie holds a Masters Degree in Gerontology from Lindenwood University.  She is a licensed nursing home administrator with extensive experience in the care management and marketing aspects of senior care administration.  Her experience includes all levels of the continuum of care, from Home Health Care, through Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Care.  She is responsible for FFC's Geriatric Care Management Services, bringing together, for the benefit of our residents and their families, a broad array of services and information, from medical, social work, financial, psychological and other sources.  Her extensive knowledge base of available and appropriate programs and services allows for the implementation of this proactive, resident-centered program.  Christie also is very involved in our market research and analysis.

 

Min Cole, ABD, MSW, Program Chair, China Initiative

Ms. Cole earned a Masters degree in Social Work at Peking University, Beijing, China.  She has completed a Masters in Gerontology at the University of North Texas and will soon complete her PhD in Gerontology.   Her extensive experience in senior housing and long term care programs and issues includes over 10 years as a Program Officer in China's Ministry of Civil Affairs, International Cooperation Department.  She has received the National Gerontology Academic Honor and is a member of the Gerontological Society of America and the American Society on Aging.
